The fix has been in the qemu-kvm debian package git tree since the day this bug has been reported, and the bug has been marked as "pending" since the same day. I waited for some other bugs to be identified, but now I'll just push the whole set. I highly doubt an NMU is necessary in this case, there's no rush, this isn't really an RC bug.
