The problem can not be reproduced when building manually. Many have tried. The best idea from IRC so far is that some strange bug in boost causes the wrong path to be used, and that an old boost version somehow is used. I am not sure how probably that is, but lets try to rule it out. I've fixed two lintian warnings in git, and added some debug output to try to figure out what is going on.
