I just installed the current version of the chromium package from the unstable archives and it runs without any problems on my machine. > -- System Information: > Debian Release: 6.0.5 > APT prefers testing-proposed-updates > APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'testing') > Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) > > Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/24 CPU cores) > Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) > Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Also, I am not sure whether it is justified to report a bug in this context as you are installing packages from testing onto a stable machine running Squeeze. The version of Chromium in squeeze is much older and the version from testing/unstable works on these systems without problems. There is no version in squeeze-backports either. Please resort to using Google Chrome or upgrade your system to Wheezy. I am also downgrading this bug to "normal" since you shouldn't set the severity to "grave" when using an unsupported configuration. If you disagree, please feel free to provide more information which would help reproducing the bug and also some proof that the problem is actually a bug and not a problem with your setup.
