This seems to introduce a regression, the package is no longer installable: Selecting previously unselected package moodle. (Reading database ... 11831 files and directories currently installed.) Unpacking moodle (from .../moodle_2.2.3.dfsg-2.4_all.deb) ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/moodle_2.2.3.dfsg-2.4_all.deb (--unpack): subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/moodle_2.2.3.dfsg-2.4_all.deb Looking at the debdiff, I think 1) there is a set -e missing 2) [ -h /usr/share/moodle/lib/yui ] && rm -f /usr/share/moodle/lib/yui should be [ ! -h /usr/share/moodle/lib/yui ] || rm -f /usr/share/moodle/lib/yui I haven't made any attempt to debug this problem by looking at the actual maintainer scripts.
