Package: xlockmore
Version: 1:5.22-1.3
Severity: grave
Tags: security
Justification: user security hole

I ran "xlock" once again after not needing it for several years. When I came
back home an hour later I remembered why I hated it: Once again it had died
and unlocked the screen, exposing my system to random people who had been
visiting my apartment.

I find it completely unacceptable that running xlock with its default
settings doesn't realiably lock the screen. Either:

a) Use a realiable screensaver by default that doesn't crash, such as
"blank".

b) Run the screensaver in a separate process, so that if it crashes xlock
starts a new screensaver instead of dying completely.
