Package: php5-xdebug
Version: 2.1.0-1
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software

The php5-xdebug package is configured with a dependency on libapache2-mod-php5,
though there is no need to be running under apache, in order to use php5-xdebug.

I run a system with nginx and fastcgi. Installing php5-xdebug installed
apache, which loaded before nginx on reboot and caused a site outage.

It seems unlikely that php5-xdebug users who wish to use xdebug to debug web
applications will need help to install their web server, and php5-xdebug can be
used with php5-cli and no web server at all. I suggest that this dependency
should be removed, and not replaced with a different web related dependency. I
don't see a need for this to be a recommendation or suggestion, but that would
at least not break things.
