I tried the new gpodder from unstable and I noticed that it is no longer possible to sync to an ipod device. The only option in "device type" is "filesystem-based device". I believe that a lot of users chose gpodder for this function. Upstream seems to be discussing this issue : http://wiki.gpodder.org/wiki/Brainstorm/Device_Sync (I chose a RC bug level so that it does not migrate to testing once wheezy is released.
