Avoiding a new transition at this point would be preferable I'm afraid. linbox looks unmaintained, fflas-ffpack has only been in the archive since the day before freeze and givaro was unmaintained until a few weeks ago. I've added the relevant removal hints; thanks for your work on the packages, it's unfortunate that these issues occurred so close to the freeze.
