Unfortunately I can't reproduce it here (chromium 20.0.1132.43~r143823-1:i386). Are you able to reproduce this on other machines? If not, any idea what accounts for the difference? If that doesn't reveal anything, please install the chromium-dbg package and get a backtrace while it is hanging, following instructions from [1]. (You can use ^C while chromium is running to get to the (gdb) prompt in order to run commands.)
