Package: udj-desktop-client Version: 0.5.1-1 Severity: serious Owner: Nathan Handler <nhand...@ubuntu.com>
When running udj-desktop-client, attempts to add new music to the library will result in a 'QSqlQuery::exec: database not open' error being displayed in the terminal and no music actually getting added. This is due to a missing Depends on libqt4-sql-sqlite. Without this package installed, udj-desktop-client is essentially unusable in Debian. This bug will most likely not get detected by people testing the package in Ubuntu due to the fact that libqt4-sql-sqlite is included in several of the Ubuntu seeds. $ seeded-in-ubuntu -b libqt4-sql-sqlite libqt4-sql-sqlite is seeded in: kubuntu-active: daily-live kubuntu: daily, dvd lubuntu: supported ubuntu: daily, dvd xubuntu: supported I have confirmed that adding libqt4-sql-sqlite as a Depends is sufficient to resolve this bug and return udj-desktop-client to a usable state. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages udj-desktop-client depends on: ii libc6 2.13-34 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.1-2 ii libphonon4 4:4.6.0.0-2 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-network 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-sql 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.2-1 ii libstdc++6 4.7.1-2 ii libtag1c2a 1.7.2-1 ii phonon 4:4.6.0.0-2 udj-desktop-client recommends no packages. udj-desktop-client suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
