The only problem I've found is that with the alsa backend, the sound is stuttering badly (may be related to #672935 ? but it claims quite the opposite).
Hm, could be a problem with alsa:i386 on amd64 in general.
Everything works fine with "-ad sdl" though, so I may change the default one if there is no better solution.
