I earlier tested on a system with NVidia card (running with Vesa), and just now tried on a laptop with intel graphics (running xserver-xorg-video-intel/2:2.19.0-4). I don't get any segfault and the modules load fine. Do I need to something extra after loading the modules? I see the streamlines and the iso-surface; I can send you screenshots if you want.
