The bug reporter can work around problem by creating /var/lib/mixmaster as root before installing this package. This seems to be fixed in package by either * Change debian/mixmaster.postinst.in at the first "mkdir /var/lib/mixmaster/... " to "mkdir -p/var/lib/mixmaster/... ". * Add to debian/mixmaster.dirs with the "var/lib/mixmaster" As I checked, this is not a bug I introduced with my NMU. I will let Colin handle this.
