I have libreoffice (1:3.5.3-3) installed and wanted to install ooohg:
root@machine:/home/user# apt-get install ooohg
[...] Some packages could not be installed. [...]
The following packages have unmatched dependencies:
ooohg : Collides with: libreoffice-common (>= 1:3.4.99) but 1:3.5.3-5 is to be
installed
E: Problems cannot be resolved, you have broken packages on hold.
root@machine:/home/user# apt-cache show ooohg
Package: ooohg
Version: 09.12a-6
[...]
Recommends: libreoffice (>= 3.3) | openoffice.org (>= 3.3)
Conflicts: libreoffice-common (>= 1:3.4.99), libreoffice-common (<<
1:3.4), openoffice.org-common (>= 1:3.4.99), openoffice.org-common (<<
1:3.4)
From my point of view, this narrow definition of valid libreoffice /
openoffice versions is too strict - the web site describes installation
with any version 3 of ***office, and even for version 2!
In case this limitation was set due to a change of path to the gallery,
maybe one could create a pre-install script checking for the version of
***office and then determining the correct installation path?

ooohg - Set of 1600 free of charge maps for libreoffice/openoffice.org
Closes: 675525
Changes:
ooohg (09.12a-8) unstable; urgency=low
.
* removed the build-dependency on openoffice-common; remove the conflicts
with any version of {open|libre}office. Now the package installs its
stuff in an independent location, and symlinks are eventually created
upon post-installation, when possible. Closes: #675525
