Package: octave Version: 3.6.2-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, I get the following error when trying to upgrade to the latest (unstable) version of octave: ========== Setting up octave (3.6.2-1) ... octave: error while loading shared libraries: libblas.so.3gf: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory dpkg: error processing octave (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 127 ========== This is caused by a transition from libblas3gf to libblas3. The latest libblas3gf package is a transitional, dummy package simply referring to libblas3. Due to this name change, the libblas3gf.so.3 library isn't available any more. Octave should be updated to accomodate this transition.
