Package: vim-addon-manager Version: 0.4.4 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
As of 0.4.4, invoking vim-addon-manager produces a fatal Ruby error, e.g.: $ vim-addons install latex-suite /usr/bin/vim-addons:241: warning: (...) interpreted as grouped expression /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems/custom_require.rb:36:in `require': cannot load such file -- vim/addon-manager (LoadError) from /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems/custom_require.rb:36:in `require' from /usr/bin/vim-addons:157:in `<main>' The same error is produced no matter what argument is supplied (e.g., vim- addons -h). I was able to reproduce an identical error message on an i386 machine (running sid) as well. Using rbenv and ruby-build, I changed my global Ruby version from 1.9.3 to 1.8.7, but the error persisted. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages vim-addon-manager depends on: ii ruby 4.9 ii ruby1.8 [ruby] 1.8.7.358-4 ii vim-common 2:7.3.524-1 Versions of packages vim-addon-manager recommends: ii vim 2:7.3.524-1 ii vim-gnome [vim] 2:7.3.524-1 vim-addon-manager suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
