soon? with the info i have, i cannot promise anything soon about FTBFS
on hppa. please follow the evolution of #334959.

about m68k, recently somebody posted on debian-devel about the problems
with gcc 4.0.2 and -O3, someone else answered saying he would have
rescheduled package failing on it to see if 4.0.2 has a fix. i must
have deleted the thread by error and i'm not fiding it in the archives.

the only workaround is to build with -O2, already tested but not deployed
in the debian/rules. probably i'll upload a version compiling with
-O2 on m68k and let see what happens. it won't be the next one, -2,
which i'm rolling in these minutes.

regards
domenico
