In particular, while golded starts OK here it's unable to show any messages (I use JAM message base), it shows just empty messages while message counter shows correct number of messages in each area. 'strace' shows that golded uses impossible offsets while seeking in the files like lseek(4, 18690040382214, SEEK_SET) = 18690040382214 (note this offset is even larger than my whole filesystem size) So I believe there some mess of 32- and 64- bit varibles. Moreover, it often crashes but it seems to be a consequence of the problem described above. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11.3.64 Locale: LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R (charmap=KOI8-R) Versions of packages goldedplus depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-12 GCC support library ii libncurses5 5.4-4 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.5-12 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 -- no debconf information --------------------------------------- Received: (at 299734-close) by bugs.debian.org; 19 Oct 2005 16:18:16 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 19 09:18:16 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from katie by spohr.debian.org with local (Exim 3.36 1 (Debian)) id 1ESGck-0000BU-00; Wed, 19 Oct 2005 09:17:06 -0700 From: Peter Karlsson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.56 $ Subject: Bug#299734: fixed in goldedplus 1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016-1 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 19 Oct 2005 09:17:06 -0700 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-CrossAssassin-Score: 3 Source: goldedplus Source-Version: 1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of goldedplus, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: goldedplus_1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016-1.diff.gz to pool/main/g/goldedplus/goldedplus_1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016-1.diff.gz goldedplus_1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016-1.dsc to pool/main/g/goldedplus/goldedplus_1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016-1.dsc goldedplus_1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016-1_i386.deb to pool/main/g/goldedplus/goldedplus_1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016-1_i386.deb goldedplus_1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/g/goldedplus/goldedplus_1.1.4.7+1.1.5.20051016.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
