Looks like texlive-bin FTBFS on sparc now: https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=texlive-bin&suite=sid I'm not quite sure if this is due to a missing LT_INIT. texlive-bin seems to use libtool but looking at configure.ac I don't find a LT_INIT or AC_PROG_LIBTOOL call [1] so adding that macro seems like a good idea in any case.
