I've checked /etc/services on a squeeze system, the '80' entry looks like this: www 80/tcp http # WorldWideWeb HTTP www 80/udp # HyperText Transfer Protocol On sid: http 80/tcp www # WorldWideWeb HTTP http 80/udp # HyperText Transfer Protocol Nevertheless, I've checked that the test works with the entry from squeeze. I don't understand what's going on in your chroot. Could you attach a copy of the /etc/services file or the '80' entry from the chroot? > Wouldn't it make sense to replace 'http' by > 80 in the test? That would also avoid problems when backporting to > squeeze. The test specifically tests that services can be specified by name, so 'http' should stay, IMO.
