when running an mpi program with mpirun, there is a (fatal) error:
mpirun: error while loading shared libraries: libhwloc.so.4: cannot open
shared object file: no such file or directory
libhwloc.so.4 is not available, the only available package is libhwloc.so.5

There were some soname issues in the past releases of hwloc indeed. The
current unstable version, pending migration, should be fine.
