Package: libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0 Version: 0~git20110809-1 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install. As per definition of the release team this makes the package too buggy for a release, thus the severity. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Selecting previously unselected package libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0:amd64. (Reading database ... 6673 files and directories currently installed.) Unpacking libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0:amd64 (from .../libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0_0~git20110809-1_amd64.deb) ... Shouldn't the postinst be generated during package build with proper variable substitution? Would the postinst work properly in a multiarch installation: libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0:amd64 *and* libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0:i386 (I did look at neither the source package nor the postinst script.) cheers, Andreas
