With the line

127.0.1.1       hostname

or

127.0.1.1       hostname hostname.lan.robgri.de

in /etc/hosts I am able to reproduce the segfault.

127.0.1.1       hostname.lan.robgri.de  hostname

as apparently set at install works.

Maybe this can be used as a workaround in the meantime.
