Hi Alejandro, Thanks for your report. I spoke with upstream a few minutes ago: today there will be a new version of emesene. In the meantime, for those who can't use emenese, here's a workaround:
- open file
/usr/share/emesene/emesene/e3/papylib/papyon/papyon/gnet/io/ssl_socket.py
- change the line
context = OpenSSL.Context(OpenSSL.SSLv23_METHOD)
into
context = OpenSSL.Context(OpenSSL.SSLv3_METHOD)
- start emesne
