Package: squirrelmail Version: 2:1.5.1-5 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
With the upgrade to PHP 5.4.0 coming down the pipeline, SquirrelMail has been rendered unusable. Commenting out the session_(un)register functions get things working somewhat again, but SM is still throwing a bunch of notice messages everywhere. I was running 1.4 but upgraded to 1.5 in experimental to see if anything improved. I've also disabled all my plugins to test just the base SM installation itself. This is just a heads up. I'm sure people are aware that a lot of web applications will break due to the upgrade of PHP. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (650, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages squirrelmail depends on: ii apache2-mpm-itk [httpd] 2.2.22-1 ii libapache2-mod-php5 5.4.0-2 ii perl 5.14.2-9 ii php5 5.4.0-2 Versions of packages squirrelmail recommends: ii aspell [aspell-bin] 0.60.7~20110707-1 ii ispell 3.3.02-5 ii squirrelmail-locales 1.4.18-20090526-1 Versions of packages squirrelmail suggests: pn cyrus-imapd-2.4 [imap-server] 2.4.13-2 pn imapproxy 1.2.7-1.1 pn php-pear 5.4.0-2 pn squirrelmail-decode <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
