Hello Julien, 2012/3/18 Julien Cristau <jcris...@debian.org>: > Source: ogre > Version: 1.7.4-3 > Severity: serious > Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past) > > ogre recently added a build-dep on libois-dev, but that's not available > on kfreebsd.
This is because I enabled the samples, and samples need to use OIS (formerly part of OGRE) for getting their input. OGRE itself will certainly compile and maybe work on FreeBSD, althought doing heavy usage of OpenGL, I don't know if in FreeBSD and Hurd running OGRE applications is a good idea at all. But apart from the samples, probably almost every project using Ogre relies on OIS for input, so I don't think that getting it to compile on freebsd/hurd flavours without OIS will be of any benefit in the real world. What do you recommend? Cheers. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
