Package: tomoyo-tools Version: 2.4.0-20111025-3 Severity: critical Justification: breaks the whole system
Dear Maintainer, *** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I tested tomoyo in a VirtualBox. Activating tomoyo with the "security=tomoyo" parameter in grub went fine. The kernel log reported that version 2.5 of tomoyo was loaded. I initialized a profile with tomoyo tools version 2.4 and restarted the system. This gave a kernel panick message. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Restarted the system and changed grub option in "security=none". De-install tomoyo-tools, empty /etc/tomoyo. Downloaded 2.5 source of tomoyo-tools, compiled it, initialized profile. Enabled "security=tomoyo" in grub and restarted. * What was the outcome of this action? System started fine, tomoyo worked. * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages tomoyo-tools depends on: pn libc6 2.13-26 pn libncurses5 5.9-4 pn libtinfo5 5.9-4 pn libtomoyotools2 <none> tomoyo-tools recommends no packages. tomoyo-tools suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
