Wish I knew... I checked /proc/sys/kernel/domainname,
/proc/sys/kernel/hostname, /etc/hosts, /etc/hostname,
/etc/resolv.conf, /etc/dhcp/dhclient and even DNS-Settings and
DHCP-Options. That last \ is nowhere to be found. Please advice if you
know any other place to check.

That did the trick. I can know configure exim4.
