Package: udev
Version: 0.070-4
Followup-For: Bug #333368

For what it's worth, I am able to confirm this bug on my Thinkpad.

My trackpoint stopped working entirely; manually modprobe'ing psmouse
brings it to life (however, tapping the trackpoint doesn't act as a
mouse click for some reason, even though I have the trackpoint patch).

Let me know if I can be of any assistance in fixing this.
