are you using 32 bit? does it work afterwards, did you test it with initramfs? as discussed with jbailey you need to compile it with gcc-3.3 on sparc, to get a working klibc. i could reproduce the clean compilation without the patch, but i'm a bit sceptic about the definitions that are picked up in the headers files. fabbione added the fix for 64 bits and said to need it there for the compilation (no change vis a vis 1.0.14 on those arch files). it did build on the ubuntu sparc builds.. thanks for your investigation. -- maks -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
