Hi Release Managers,

in case someone sees this: I think this bug should be tagged
squeeze-ignore and I need to communicate better¹ that only
the latest version of mksh (in backports, for squeeze) can
be used as /bin/sh due to fixes in mksh, better POSIX compat
and workarounds for bugs or assumptions in other Debian pak-
kages (such as this one). While it’s technically possible to
backport this fix (and its followup), I don’t think that will
be the end of such issues.

① I tried to add a comment to this effect to the QA page, but
  the mail never showed up. Maybe a Wiki page where I describe
  the current minimum version of mksh for safe /bin/sh use?

bye,
//mirabilos

http://qa.debian.org/data/bts/graphs/d/dash.png is pretty red, innit?
