Package: udev
Version: 175-3
Followup-For: Bug #652660

I can confirm that this bug still exists as of today. Just finished a netinst
using Debian testing and found eth0 and eth1 switching places after reboots.
Brian's generator.rules fix above worked perfectly. Interfaces on the machine
are:

Adapter [AR5008 802.11(a)bgn] (rev 01)
02:0a.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8169 Gigabit
Ethernet (rev 10)
02:0c.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82557/8/9/0/1 Ethernet Pro 100
(rev 10)
