Package: udev Version: 175-3 Followup-For: Bug #652660 I can confirm that this bug still exists as of today. Just finished a netinst using Debian testing and found eth0 and eth1 switching places after reboots. Brian's generator.rules fix above worked perfectly. Interfaces on the machine are:
