hi, i'm building the packages with debug on (i think it's done with DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=debug,nostrip,noopt export DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS
right? well, anyway, that's what i stuck in debian/rules, hopefully i got it right. then i'll run gdb on that sshd binary, and see what we get. i tried running gdb on a running sshd -ddd at vorlon's suggestion, but didn't get much out of it. more later
