The bug #652811 is now assigned to broadcom-sta-source. > i'm a semi-advanced linux debian user, and i think that the problem could > be on the driver or some uncompatibility with one of the packages cuz the > system freezes when i try one of the following: > > (it happens whit broadcom-sta driver. the brcm80211 driver don't let the > system to load it loads frozen) > > - Boot the system with the wlan on (led on so the wifi card is on)- > System Freezes. Bad news: looking for acer + BCM4313 + freeze gives a huge amount of results and it doesn't seem to be related to broadcom-sta. I found two interresting links, the first[1] recommends to blacklist acer_wmi module, the second[2] recomments to blacklist atl1c (as a result the ethernet card should stop to work). Please try each solution.
