Package: debian-reference
Version: 1.08-4
Severity: serious

debian-reference fails to build because it cannot find a link in the
target hashtable:

Here's the end of the output that is generated when I pass -v:

You certainly got my attention by serious bug :-)

I think serious bug report on documentation package during build tool
transition needs to be carefully handled. I hated it when TeTEX changed
a lot during sarge-testing.=20

Hmmmm. what is hash table? This seems some TeX issues since other
structurs should have been build so SGML files should be good.

Since this was successfully build during last days of sarge-testing, I
really doubts this is to be due to build tool transition.

I just uploaded update to the debiandoc-sgml few days ago which works
with new etch TeTEX packages.

Anyway, let me try rebuilding under sid-pbuilder (on stable machine with
backported pbuilder and cdebootstrap).

As usual, building this package is heavy load on my PC, I put air fan
next to my PC to keep my CPU run at 2GHz. (Otherwise it slows down to
1.2GHz.) =20

Now I am building PS files. Now I see zh-tw for latexps :-)

Hey, it build OK.

 debiandoc-sgml (1.1.89) unstable; urgency=3Dlow

   * Fixed LaTeX code to produce DVI output even if pdfTeX is the engine
behind LaTeX, needed to cooperate with teTeX-3.0 (closes: Bug#321942)
     (thanks to Frank K=C3=BCster <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) [jens]
   * Use -z option of dvips to obtain valid links if ps2pdf is applied on
     PostScript files (see Bug#321942) [jens]=20

I hope my last upload fixed this issue.

Thus closing this bug report. If you are running some auto-checker,
please recheck all results on packages depending on debiandoc-sgml. It
has to be upgraded to 1.1.89.

Osamu
