Hi, I run a java based service (i2p router, http://www.i2p2.de/) with openjdk-6- jre-headless in an openvz container. The JVM crashes frequently once a day in average. The i2p wrapper gives the following errormessage in /var/log/i2p/wrapper.log: 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # Internal Error (nmethod.cpp:1847), pid=10157, tid=140667488462592 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # Error: guarantee(cont_offset != 0,"unhandled implicit exception in compiled code") 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # JRE version: 6.0_18-b18 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # Java VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (14.0-b16 mixed mode linux-amd64 ) 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # Derivative: IcedTea6 1.8.9 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.2 (squeeze), package 6b18-1.8.9-0.1~squeeze1 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # An error report file with more information is saved as: 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # /tmp/hs_err_pid10157.log 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | [thread 140667489515264 also had an error] 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # If you would like to submit a bug report, please include 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # instructions how to reproduce the bug and visit: 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # http://icedtea.classpath.org/bugzilla 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | # 2011/11/26 10:42:37 | JVM received a signal UNKNOWN (6). 2011/11/26 10:42:38 | JVM process is gone. 2011/11/26 10:42:38 | JVM exited unexpectedly. 2011/11/26 10:42:52 | Launching a JVM... 2011/11/26 10:42:52 | WrapperManager: Initializing... 2011/11/26 10:42:53 | Starting I2P 0.8.11-0deb3 2011/11/26 10:42:53 | ERROR: There appears to be another router already running! 2011/11/26 10:42:53 | Please make sure to shut down old instances before starting up 2011/11/26 10:42:53 | a new one.
