Package: firmware-b43legacy-installer
Version: 1:015-7
Severity: grave

Hi,

as far as I can tell, downloading and installing firmwares would be
done by the latest_firmware() function in the postinst file. However,
it seems to me that function is never called at all.

By the way, a nice fix to this bug would probably steal the chroot
autodetection code from firmware-b43-installer.postinst to
unconditionally fetch and install the firmware in case a chroot is
detected (e.g. at Live CD build time).

Cheers,
