Package: debian-installer Version: wheezy kirkwood Severity: grave
The installer has been downloaded from here : ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/wheezy/main/installer-armel/current/images/kirkwood/netboot/marvell/sheevaplug/ When running installation, just after setting time zone, the installer try to detect hardware and stop with mess "Error while running 'modprobe -v usb-storage'". So partman can't run and Wheezy installation is aborted. Then I have tried Squeeze installer form here : ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/installer-armel/current/images/kirkwood/netboot/marvell/sheevaplug/ The Installation go normally to the end and my USB key contain a valid and bootable file system. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers lucid-updates APT policy: (500, 'lucid-updates'), (500, 'lucid-security'), (500, 'lucid-backports'), (500, 'lucid') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-35-generic-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
