The license notice in afm/MustRead.html says the following:

"This file and the 35 PostScript(R) AFM files it
accompanies may be used, copied, and distributed for any purpose and
without charge, with or without modification, ..."

So the AFM files can only be used non-commercially, which is a violation
of DFSG.
