Configure fails on the alpha buildd which still runs a 2.4 kernel.
Packages need to compile on a 2.4 kernel.

Alasdair, if you're reading this - is there any possibility to _build_
an epoll-based rageircd on a 2.4 system? There is no need to run the
binary there, it only needs to build.

Greetings
Marc

I'm closing this bug on the grounds that debian dropped support for
2.4 kernels a long time ago. They also dropped support for the alpha
architecture.
