Upstream has released Java SE 6 update 29 yesterday: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/javacpuoct2011-443431.html with security fixes. Because some of the fixes, like for BEAST, are very high-profile, perhaps an update through stable-updates can be arranged with the SRM instead of waiting for the next point release?
