Let's turn this into a proper bug report. As this breaks unrelated packages, I'm filing with RC severity especially as this is a very often reported bug. Sebastian, in case you are busy we (the GNOME team) can prepare an NMU as we want to see this issue resolved as soon as possible. Please let us know what you prefer. If I don't hear back anything, I'd prepare an upload tomorrow and upload it to DELAYED/2.
