a new upstream release is available that has this problem fixed.

i have updated the debian package accordingly, and submitted everything
to to
 git+ssh://git.debian.org/git/pkg-multimedia/pd-zexy


if one of my fellow pkg-multimedia friends could have a look and
eventually upload the package i would be thankful.
