Hi, While testing the installation of all packages in sid, I ran into the following problem: > Reading package lists... > Building dependency tree... > Reading state information... > Starting > Starting 2 > Done > The following NEW packages will be installed: > kumofs > 0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. > Need to get 570 kB of archives. > After this operation, 1585 kB of additional disk space will be used. > Get:1 http://localhost/debian/ sid/main kumofs amd64 0.4.13-1+b1 [570 kB] > Preconfiguring packages ... > Fetched 570 kB in 0s (4871 kB/s) > Selecting previously deselected package kumofs. > (Reading database ... 7461 files and directories currently installed.) > Unpacking kumofs (from .../kumofs_0.4.13-1+b1_amd64.deb) ... > Dpkg hook: enabling sh trace for /var/lib/dpkg/info/kumofs.postinst > Dpkg hook: enabling sh trace for /var/lib/dpkg/info/kumofs.postrm > Dpkg hook: enabling sh trace for /var/lib/dpkg/info/kumofs.prerm > Setting up kumofs (0.4.13-1+b1) ... > > Configuration file `/etc/default/kumofs' > ==> File on system created by you or by a script. > ==> File also in package provided by package maintainer. > What would you like to do about it ? Your options are: > Y or I : install the package maintainer's version > N or O : keep your currently-installed version > D : show the differences between the versions > Z : start a shell to examine the situation > The default action is to keep your current version. > *** kumofs (Y/I/N/O/D/Z) [default=N] ? dpkg: error processing kumofs > (--configure): > EOF on stdin at conffile prompt > configured to not write apport reports > Errors were encountered while processing: > kumofs > E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Note that no configuration files were created during the test, so this should not happen. The full build log is available from: http://people.debian.org/~lucas/logs/2011/08/25/kumofs.log It is reproducible by installing your package in a clean chroot, using the debconf Noninteractive frontend, and priority: critical. This test was carried out using about 50 AMD64 nodes of the Grid'5000 platform. Internet was not accessible from the nodes. -- | Lucas Nussbaum | lu...@lucas-nussbaum.net http://www.lucas-nussbaum.net/ | | jabber: lu...@nussbaum.fr GPG: 1024D/023B3F4F | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
