Source: haskell-vector Version: 0.9-1 Severity: serious Forwarded: http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/4268
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, the new version of haskell-vector uses annotations, which are not supported by ghc on architectures without the interpreter (ghci). Possible solutions are: * Build-Depend on ghc-ghci and remove existing packages of this and of dependencies from the affected architectures. * Add some CPP-Magic to the package to disable the annotation on other architectures. * Hope that upstream fixes http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/4268, e.g. ignores annotations when no ghci is available. In general it seems that the Haskell support for non-x86-architectures is getting worse and worse :-( Greetings, Joachim - -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAk5giqYACgkQ9ijrk0dDIGzUxgCgzbOTdPke8eJz0iFKCDzw1llH bJ4An1ycFKjmup/uqTxg1wQ7zfxAzsqz =cbwB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
