Package: python-xpcom Version: 1:2.0~hg20110502-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi, When trying to use a python module with xulrunner-5.0, I get following exception when trying to instantiate it: (NS_ERROR_XPC_CI_RETURNED_FAILURE) [nsIJSCID.createInstance]" nsresult: "0x80570015 (NS_ERROR_XPC_CI_RETURNED_FAILURE)" Also, a print statement in the python module is not executed; this shows that the module is not loaded. After adding manually this line: binary-component libpyloader.so to /usr/lib/xulrunner-5.0/components/binary.manifest, python module loads fine, and everything is correct. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages python-xpcom depends on: ii libc6 2.13-13 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libnspr4-0d 4.8.8-2 NetScape Portable Runtime Library ii libpython2.6 2.6.7-3 Shared Python runtime library (ver ii libstdc++6 4.6.1-5 GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii python 2.6.7-2 interactive high-level object-orie ii python2.6 2.6.7-3 An interactive high-level object-o ii xulrunner-5.0 5.0-6 XUL + XPCOM application runner python-xpcom recommends no packages. python-xpcom suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
