Would you mind to be a little bit more specific? I happen to know very well the upstream author, he is one of my friend, and I quite clearly know that his intention is to release under what's in the LICENSE file. I had a look inside each files, and it seems to me that it's matching what's in the LICENSE file, with few sentences removed.
