(this bug most likely needs reassigning, but I don't know where, so filing
it on the application that exhibits the symptom)

gnome-terminal aborts on start, with unknown signal:

This is a limitation of our gdb, see #550361.

What is the real problem ?
What does gnome-terminal when runs directly ?

In general, it is possible to generate core_dump and use gdb at it,
but not use gdb to start threaded programs :-(
