The fixes for 2.0.5-2 where related to a previous FTBFS, and contained
changes to the test-files in t/:
t/api/err_headers_out.t
t/filter/TestFilter/out_str_reverse.pm
t/response/TestAPI/request_rec.pm

However, indeed the last correct build for hurd-i386 was with
2.2.17-3. This is true too for kfreebsd-i386. kfreebsd-amd64 on the
other hand builded fine.
I alternatively could try build on io.debian.net, but chroot there for
unstable does not have the build dependencies installed for
libapache2-mod-perl2.
