A minimized version with all comments stripped is not the preferred form
of modification, so it is not the source.  And jquery.js is also a
minimized file: it's identical to jquery-1.2.6.min.js

Why should it matter that they don't run on Debian (whatever that
means)?  And why would using libjs-jquery not work?
